Will and Bethan got married on the warmest days of the year – Warm in temperature and warm in atmosphere too. I met up with Bethan and the Bridesmaids at John Paul Hairdressing on the morning and I have to say the staff were so caring, they not only welcomed the whole bridal party into their salon, but me and Bethan’s dad too!( so much so that some of their other customers were joining in the celebrations too.) With Will and Bethan living in London, Will and the boys had hired a luxury apartment not too far away and Bob met the boys there for Groom preps.. Bridal preparations continued at Bethan’s family home and just as we arrived back, the Best Man Rob arrived with a bag full of presents from Will.. (They were not doing presents for each other – really!) The service as St Nicholas’ Church was made all the more special as Bethan’s sister Meriel sang “Silent Noon* whilst their Father Peter, accompanied her on the piano. Photography is not allowed from the front of St Nicholas’ Church but we somehow got a window of opportunity to capture this. After a drinks reception at the church, we all headed off for the Wedding reception at The Victoria Gallery & Museum Liverpool, we have never photographed a Wedding here before, the architecture is break taking and so beautiful. After the Father of the Bride delivered his speech, Bethan’s Mother delivered a message too – a personal poem that Bethan’s Father had written – such a beautiful a gift that will be cherished forever. First dance.. well this was certainly not a typical 1st dance as within minutes, the dance floor was jam packed and stayed like that for the rest of the night
