Theo is so cute and never stops smiling. His baptism was so special and had all the details (and more) of what you see at a wedding. Greek Orthodox baptism’s are major events for the family, packed with lots of little details. A small bottle of olive oil (for the priest to pour into the baptismal water), a bar of soap (for the priest and godparent to wash their hands with after the baptism) white candles (which they light after the baptism when they walk around the baptismal font) Martirika-Christening Witness Pins (that will be pinned on the guests attending the ceremony)A gold cross on a chain (for the baby to wear after Chrismation) and a baptismal box for everything to put into, to bring to the church. Its such a pleasure to be asked to capture such this important day in Theo’s life, especially as we captured his big sister’s, Baptism a couple of years ago. Its always lovely to meet up with all his family too, we know so many of them. Well on with the pictures which will show many of the significant moments of the day.
