St. Nicholas Greek Church onto Hillbark Cheshire

Niko and Jenny had the most amazing wedding on the hottest of days in July. We have know Niko for 7 years now and Jenny just a little less as they have been guests at some many great weddings we have had the pleasure of photographing.. I remember travelling on the double decker bus to Niko’s sister’s wedding, Christophora,  just over two years ago – we had such as the trip was very entertaining thanks to Niko’s mum, Pat.as we left the bus, they said they would be in touch – at the time, I didn’t know they meant to photograph their wedding as they hadn’t even set the date then. I spent the morning with Jenny, she has a heart of gold and so much love for people that she is just so lovely to be around. Just Jenny, her Parents and Bridesmaids, very chilled and fun. Bob spent the morning at Niko’s parents home, very eventful as all the Greek traditions were taking place – shaving of the groom and tying of the red sash etc and many more. On arriving at the church, it was already full as there were over 300 guests invited to their wedding. The Crowning is the main part of the ceremony where the couple were crowned by garland wreaths, with white ribbons attached to them, symbolizing unity. After leaving church, we headed off to Hillbark, the couple were showered by so much confetti. Immediately after the speeches the dance floor was filled and stayed full until way after twelve, with highlights throughout the evening – money pinning, throwing the bouquet and plate smashing. Well, on with the pictures. To see more of our Greek wedding photography in Liverpool and Manchester, please call us on 07910621134
