James and Aimee had the most fun Wedding, rich colours, rustic feel on a beautiful Autumnal day at St. Chad’s in Upper mill. James and Aimee came to us after a long line of referrals which has seen us photograph Weddings in Denton, Ashton Under Lyne, Marsden and now Uppermill/ Huddersfield. Their Wedding photography was very important to them and soon after setting the date, they travelled across to meet up with us. Bride and Groom preps were quite far apart so whilst i spent the morning with Aimee, her mum and family at their home in Huddersfield. (Aimee’s auntie’s were so full of fun, clearing the pathway outside the house for miles ahead and photo bombing pictures too.) Bob spent the morning with the boys at James’s parents home. The many Ushers had met up there before a pre wedding toast at the the public house which was conveniently next to the church. The journey to the church for Aimee and her mum Denise was very relaxed, as we travelled across the hill tops, we were surrounded by beautiful landscapes and a variety of weather conditions. As Aimee arrived at church, Duncan came straight over to the car, cracking jokes (not what you expect from a vicar). His laid back approach continued throughout the service and it was so nice to see he got invited to the Wedding Breakfast too. Well what a Wedding, and what a delight to photograph. On with the real story. We are already looking forward to our our next Wedding in Saddleworth.. If you would like to know more about our Wedding photography, please call us on 07910 621134.
