Wedding Photography at West Tower
A gorgeous crisp autumn morning, breezy but intermittent bursts of sunshine and a blue sky. Could there be anything more inviting to capture than a beautiful Wedding set in the tranquil countryside? Gary and Jodie got married at West Tower, a stunning, a romantic hideaway amidst rolling Lancashire countryside, exclusively theirs for their Wedding day
The bridal suite is definitely special, with its 4 poster bed and lots of ornate furniture which makes gorgeous backdrops for detail shots. Light coming in through a window that looks out onto the countryside perfect for bridal preparations and a dream for photography. Jodie and the bridesmaids spent the final part of their wedding preparations here, after travelling a short distance from a barn they all spent the pre wedding night at.
Gary had prepared a feast of presents for Jodie on the morning of the wedding, a personalised boxes filled with all her favourites and a few surprises too. So loved Jodie’s shoes, blush pink, and the bridesmaids flowers with a special shade of rose called earl grey. Gary’s brother and best man had travelled over from Australia, especially for the wedding. They both wore kilts and looked so smart.
After the ceremony in the ballroom, which was decked out in an abundance of flowers it was drinks and canapés in the cellar bar, everyone then headed outside as the couple had arranged for a magician to entertain the guests. A great set of speeches followed the wedding breakfast and then we were spoilt by the magical sunset of West Tower, a moment to be captured and a great photography opportunity. A surprise visit from Jodie’s niece, had the guests speechless as Jodie’s reaction was a moment to treasure. Jodie’s sister had arranged the visit and was such a gorgeous surprise, she later escorted the couple onto the dance floor and joined them during their first dance. Below is a small sample of images from their day.
