After Andy and Emma’s amazing Wedding in Greece – we got to photograph their England Wedding too. Such an amazing party and great to see so many of brides and grooms – Paul and Leanne – Martin and Clare and Paul and Kate. Lovely to catch up with the majority of the wedding party from Greece too.- Paul and Katie we were thinking of you both and so glad we got to meet you in Greece. On with the party.
We first got to know Richard and Sarah before they had set their wedding date or chosen their wedding venue. After visiting many venues their date was set and their venue choice was the magnificent, West Tower www.westtower.com Richard proposed to Sarah in New York so the theme of their wedding was “New York”.. from yellow taxi cabs as wedding cars, “Big” Apple table favours and a post box modelled on the Empire State Building. Lots of ideas – creating so much fun. We thought the thunderstorms of June were over, but I have got to say I have never since so much rain. – reflecting back on the day, the weather did not impact upon their day at all – we found some new hidden gems to photograph at West Tower and we all had a brilliant time. On with the pics.
Simon and Sarah are such a lovely couple and have the cutest of little girls. – baby Ella. We were back at West Tower for their wedding www.westtower.com along with our good friends Steve –www.steve-mitchell.co.uk and Laurie- www.flowerstylebylaurie.co.uk for such a magnificent day. It felt like Summer, blue skies, peonies and a pastel colour theme so different and yet so beautiful. A very emotional groom – who wouldn’t be when your baby daughter walks down the aisle, ahead of your wife2B. Speeches that were hilarious -(especially when the best man dropped his trousers!) Great entertainment, and service from the team at W.T. and a sunset backdrop to die for! Just an amazing day. The pictures speak volumes.
James and Amanda and their families are just so lovely. Their wedding was very personal packed with lots of emotions. Shortest trip ever to Bridal preps as Amanda’s parents live less than 5 mins away! Entertainment on the morning was provided by the 2 hairdressers – they did an amazing job and were so funny too. A very exciting trip up to Ferrari’s Country House and beautiful, heartfelt vows that were so expressive. Yes, we did get a little rain but I dont think the weather matters when you have such a fabulous atmosphere and such a lovely guests. I so have to mention the cake – Amanda’s own work of art. Looked just perfect. On with the pics.
First met Andy and Jo over 2 years ago at Mike and Vicky’s Wedding and every time we have met up with them – they are so much fun. They wanted their wedding to be very relaxed – their personalities are certainly infectious as the whole wedding party knew how to party. They chose Peckforton Castle and I must say it looks better than ever. We met up with Jo really early – we were greeted by 3 lovely bridesmaids and a very excited bride. The wedding was so full of emotions and so many special touches – Jo’s “something blue” was a chain her dad had given her when she was a little girl. I have to say – Mike’s Best man’s speech was the most original ever ! Delivered with so much confidence and so well received. Well on with the pictures. Andy and Jo thanks for an amazing day. x

We travelled toa very sunny Crete for the Wedding of Andy and Emma. On arrival in Rethymno, we received such a warm welcome from Giorgos at La Stella Apartments www.lastella-hotel.gr and it was so lovely to see so many familiar faces – The atmosphere was very relaxed but also very exciting. Andy had Emma had put so much time and effort into making sure the Wedding was so perfect. The setting was so beautiful – Agreco Farm, www.grecotel.com located on a fairytale hill amongst vine yards and olive trees, overlooking the Cretan Sea. Andy and the majority of the wedding party travelled up together to the venue together – just a 10 minute drive – but even at 4 pm the temperature was 84 degrees. Emma and her dad arrived fashionably early (lol) immediately, after the Major who was officiating the ceremony. How lovely to photograph a wedding outside in the glorious sun. Some very funny speeches were followed by an eight course wedding breakfast and then dancing till 4am. A special thanks goes to the wedding planners Caroline and Anneka from moments. www.bestmoments.gr who were ever so helpful in ensuring everybody had an amazing time. We are so privileged to have been chosen to capture this amazing day and spend so many special moments with old friends and new ones. We are now ready for wedding no.2 on Friday. x
