Singleton Lodge – Wedding Photography

Our latest wedding was at Singleton Lodge Country House Hotel. This was our first time at Singleton Lodge, on the Fylde coast. The Hall is located in the village of Singleton near Poulton Le Fylde, and is a period Georgian Hall in five acres if parkland.
The day was bright and sunny – perfect for the wedding. Emma had her bridal preparation photographs close by in the village of Garston and then arrive in style in immaculately presented vintage wedding cars. Shaun was already at Singleton Lodge awaiting the arrival of his bride 🙂

Wedding Photography

We have photographed weddings at many locations in Lancashire over the years – and late summer is particularly favourable to this location. This particular venue is set in parkland which lend it great views and back-drops to photograph against. There is even an Alpaca farm in the grounds that provided an alternative and interesting back-drop to wedding photos.

Evening Celebrations

After the speeches, the evening celebrations commenced. The main reception room was transformed in to a spectacular evening reception venue – great atmosphere and music for the guests to enjoy and dance to.
We had a great time and capture many great photos showing the fun, enjoyment and lively atmosphere at this wedding.

The gallery is just a small selection of photography from Singleton Lodge –  of Shaun and Emma’s wedding day. If you like what you see please get in touch and we can have a chat about your wedding. Our mobile phone is 07910621134.

Meols Hall – Wedding Photography

Our latest wedding was at Meols Hall, Tithe Barn, Southport. Our return to Meols Hall, after a while was greeted by great weather and a fabulous couple in in Isaac and Clare.
Clare had her bridal preparation photographs at home and then arrive in style in immaculately presented wedding cars. Isaac having arrived at Meols Hall early, went to the local hostelry for quick refreshment, before walking over for the ceremony. With two photographers on hand, we were able to capture the build up to the wedding day from both the grooms perspective and the brides.
The Tithe Barn is situated in the grounds of Meols Hall, Southport. The hall is Southport’s historical Manor House, dating back to the 12th century.

Wedding Photography

We have photographed weddings at Meols Hall, Tithe Barn many times over the years – and the summer time is particularly favourable to this location. This particular venue stands amongst best.
From having a lovely original cobbled courtyard for a outdoor reception area, to the four hundred year old tithe barn where the ceremony and reception are held. Outside, the hall is in a woodland setting – with wide open spaces and gorgeous views, offering glorious uninterrupted views across the Lancashire farmland.

Evening Celebrations

After the speeches, the evening celebrations commenced. The Barn was transformed in to a spectacular evening reception venue – we event had an Ice Cream vendor and whole hog – spit roast for the guest to enjoy.
We had a great time and capture many great photos showing the fun, enjoyment and lively atmosphere at this wedding.

August wedding at West Tower

Sunset Photo

August Wedding at the West Tower

An August wedding at West Tower Manor House is rather special, summer is at its height and the lighting is really lovely – the evenings are long and you can get some stunning sunset photos. If you’re looking for a photographer who knows the venue; its seasons and how to get the best out of what it has to offer, we do! Our photography is creative in style, but documentary in our approach.
We cover the usual family photos, signing the register, cutting the wedding cake and first dance, but go a little deeper and capture emotions, relationships and moments. These moments are the essence of every wedding and what makes every wedding unique.
Liam and Jen chose to have a civil service – so the service, reception and evening celebrations were at West Tower. Civil services are a good option for those couples who do not want the stress of traveling from location to another. West Tower is ideal for this. The staff are accustomed to making your day as stress free as possible.

West Tower Wedding Photographer

We have been to West Tower, as wedding photographers many times in the past few years. Every time there is something different, the lighting changes, the weather changes, the seasons change. Each couple is different and special to us. In listening to their plans and dreams we are able to capture a unique set of photographs that reflect their special day.
Pictures change with the seasons and the weather, and the possibilities to create a stunning set of photos are great.
The view west over the fields can be a great backdrop on a clear day, with fantastic views of the sunset what ever the time of year. Looking back east towards the building and grounds, there’s plenty of space for throwing confetti and the trees provide shade which is great for photos on really sunny days.
There are locations at West Tower to get those group photos of family, bridesmaids and ushers both indoors and out. The steps to the building provide a ready made setting for a full group photo and there’s enough paving for those who aren’t keen on standing on the grass.

Evening Celebrations

West Tower can accommodate over 150 people, the magnificent ballroom with steps leading in, is a superb photo opportunity as the couple enter for their first dance! The evening is a really exciting time, where great photos are taken. Both Liam and Jen and all their guest were up dancing to the music and having a fantastic time.

What a wonderful and special wedding to be part of, and a total joy to capture all the memories for the newlywed couple. We can’t wait to return again soon for another wedding to photograph. Big thank you to Steph, Sue and all the team at West Tower Manor House.

Escrick Park – Woodland Wedding – York

woodland wedding

Escrick Park – Woodland Wedding Photography

Woodland weddings are special and unusual.
This wedding was special as we have already photographed weddings of several family members over the years. It was unusual as the setting was a woodland clearing on the Escrick Park Estate, Escrick near York. Set in an ancient oak clearing, this outdoor open space provides rustic benching for up to 150 people seated with an archway crafted from dried oak branches to create a special space for the ceremony.
Mike and Naomi wanted to celebrate their wedding in their own way and to have a great time in doing so. Following a civil wedding service at the nearby registry office, located at Skipwith Hall – they had a humanist come pagan wedding in the woodland clearing – then the reception in a teepee in the estate grounds.

Wedding Photographer

We have photographed wedding in many locations and in many venues in England and also in Europe.
This particular venue stands amongst best this year – From having a lovely woodland setting for the service to wide open space and gorgeous views, offering glorious uninterrupted views across the former deer park and open landscape stretching for miles. From there, it is only a short walk to the idilic teepee for the evening meal and celebrations.

Evening Celebrations

After the speeches, the evening celebrations commenced with Piano Time with Martin Taylor, a long time friend of Mikes and the further musical entertainment from the Langan Band.
We had a great time and capture many great photos showing the fun, enjoyment and lively atmosphere at this wedding.

The gallery below is just a small selection of photography from Escrick Park, of Mike and Naomi’s wedding day. If you like what you see please get in touch and we can have a chat about your wedding. Our mobile phone is 07910621134.

Church Wedding then West Tower

Photography at Church then West Tower

Weddings at a church are alway special. There was no exception with the wedding at St.Paul’s Chuch. The day went from strenght to strength. The reception was at West Tower Manor House. I think many people would agree, that West Tower Manor House is simply stunning at any time of year. If you’re looking for a photographer who knows this venue and how to get the best out of what it has to offer, we do! Our photography is creative in style, but documentary in our approach.
We go a little deeper photograph emotions, relationships and special moments. These moments are the essence of every wedding and what makes every wedding unique. Luke and Toni, started their wedding day by having their ceremony at their local church, St. Paul’s in Skelmersdale, then onto West Tower.

Carden Park – Wedding Photography

Wedding Photography at Carden Park

Photographing a wedding at Carden Park, is a great experience. Carden Park is a venue near Chester. It is seen as Cheshire’s Country Estate, surrounded by 1000 acres of countryside. It has even an on-site vineyard, which was used as a great backdrop for photographing the couple. Regardless of the time of year, a photographer can achieve great photographs from the many aspects this venue and its surrounding estate has to offer. There are great views towards the welsh borders and beyond. The well kept and mature estate provide a great back drop for the bridal couple – whilst the stairs leading up to the outside terrace is great for group photographs and the ritual of throwing confetti. Inside, the splendid  Carden Suite, is ideal for candid photography during the speeches and later in the evening, the bridal couples First Dance and the celebrations afterwards.

A Selection of Carden ParkWedding Photographs

We had a great time photographing Adam and Danielle’s wedding day! We had a tour of the Carden Park estate, and included photographs from the Garden Gazebo in the front gardens, the lovely bridge over carden lake and on to the vine-yard. Is was a wonderful and special wedding to be part of, and a total joy to capture all the memories for the newlywed couple.
We can’t wait to return again soon for another wedding to photograph.
Big thank you to all the team at Carden Park.

Pre wedding Photos at Inglewood Farm

couple with horse

Pre wedding photos

Becky and Dave are local to Rainford, St. Helens, and are eagerly counting down the days to their wedding at the Manor House in Aughton.

The day was warm and sunny with great lighting for their pre wedding photos. Inglewood Farm was the perfect setting for their perfect photo shoot.
Becky is a keen horse rider and regularly rides, and has her horse stabled there.
We made full use of the farm and surrounds, from the walk in to the farm to the hay bales stored in the hay shed.
In their parents garden, the red geranium flowers made a great frame for the photos of them – even Becky and Dave’s dogs got in on the photo shoot!

We are now awaiting their wedding day, and are looking forward to documenting the day as it unfolds – a story in photographs – such a fun couple to be with.

If you liked the photos below, please comment or if your are getting married and would like to discuss your wedding photography plans – contact us here or give us a call on 07910621134.
